WASHINGTON, Conn. -- A Waterbury man was reported to be in critical condition Monday morning at Hartford Hospital's intensive care unit after a one-car accident on Route 202.
Christopher Bratten, 25, lost control of his 1992 Chevy Blazer early Sunday morning just before 1:30 a.m., and the Blazer knocked down six metal guard rails and a utility pole, police said.
Bratten was taken to Hartford Hospital by LifeStar helicopter.
The accident closed Route 202 for more than 12 hours Sunday.
