As Pad said some are right across street even that close the front gates are quite a walk for little ones. But be careful where some hotel could be 1/4 mi. away they do provide shuttle service. Make sure to check how often shuttle comes. I stayed at hotel and the shuttle only came once in A.m and returned quite late. My opinion Disney would prefer for you to stay at their hotels there right by park and within easy walking distance very convenient. A little pricey but for me it was worth it.
