I did some research on mine craft before . The problem seems to be in the "PLAYER" updates have made older players not function . Try on Goggle :minecraft problems solutions forums . This is solvable with a current player install . Sorry I know this sucks and not being tech savy myself this is the best I have to offer . It will at least put you on the right path
