How to remove unwanted toolbars - the easy way
So, what can you do if you want to remove toolbar? The best thing would be to start with removing it manually.
1. Open the "View" menu of your browser,
2. choose "Toolbars",
3. uncheck the toolbar name.
Then go to the Add and Remove Program utility in the Windows Control Panel (Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs), find the toolbar's name, then click the "Remove" button and follow the instructions.
The alternative is to run the toolbar's supplied uninstaller, which should be available via the options or settings on the toolbar.
What to do if the toolbar reappears
The big problem when it comes to so many of these adware toolbars is that they can guard against the traditional Add/Remove programs uninstall and reappear on your browser the next time you start one up. The only remaining solution then is using an anti-spyware program such as Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (Malwarebytes has free malware removal) or PC Tools' Spyware Doctor. Those programs are able to detect and effectively remove toolbars, as well as any other adware and spyware threats that might reside in your system. Most of the time, adware toolbars are only the tip of the iceberg, with several other trojan or malware threats lurking just behind them - unseen, but even more dangerous. Trojans can download and install new adware and malware at some point in the future if they're left on your system.
There are people who would rather change their browser (usually to Mozilla Firefox or one of the other popular alternatives), taking advantage of the fact that most adware toolbars are made with Internet Explorer in mind, but that tactic is a bit shortsighted. Regardless of what browser you use, without a working anti-spyware program, your system is prone to all kinds of infections. You can solve this problem once and for all by using a properly certified anti-spyware and anti-virus program, no matter which browser you decide to go with. You have too much personal information on your computer to risk not using reliable protection, so don't go another day without taking the necessary precautions and removing that unwanted toolbar.
