To go on line you are either hard wired to a Internet provider or you have a wifi connection . You managed to get here so I would say you are on line . To go some where there is a search bar at the top of the page type a destination or question in the bar and click on it . For example type : 100 best web sites . Then click on search. Thats the magnifying icon looking thing by the search bar .Or try  www.lastfm.com  for music  www.pandora.com  also for music . You can ask anything you can think of in goggle , How to make ice cream ? Click and go . try www.wonderhowto.com  All this stuff learning takes awhile wont happen over night . Every one started exactly where you are this moment . We all rember those days and will help if we can any time .   Bill
