    " They are apples. " is it grammatically correct ?

    In a group of fruit, you could say, "these are apples", so I would say yes, it's correct.

    I believe it is! If someone said "What kind  of fruit is that?" They are apples.   --would be correct!

    I guess it would depend on the message you are trying to convey. But it looks correct to me...........
