You cannot, you can deactivate it. They do that just in case you change your mind, and they also do not allow you to close it, to protect you from losing an account to a pseudonym, for at least 3 months. I will let you know in three months what happens to an account that has been deactivated and whether it can be taken by someone else or the owner. :)
