I think you are right and it might be the down fall of humanity in that every day it becomes more and more important not to make as many mistakes. But we do.

Most younger generations learned discrimination from their parents from very young on. Tolerance for those who are different is an individual thing. This generation will be no different than the last in the long run. Welcome to the real world.

You're 100% right. Kids can copy their folks or break the mold. My folks stayed together until my dad passed away (52 years). I don't recall seeing a tender look, touch, or word pass between them in my whole life. I'd like to be married, but NOT like that. Maybe that's one reason I'm NOT married anymore.

Bob, I wouldn't put myself in a relationship without compassion or passion. Better to be alone. I need to know everyday that the person I'm with, is here because they want to be here, not just a convenience or a meal ticket.

becaues, we have to lieve our one life, make our on decision,  i think it is called growing up,

People must learn by their own esperiences.  "Don't put your hand on the stove. It's hot. It will burn you."  Really?  This I've gotta see.  OUCH.  MOMMMMEEEEEE.
    And so it goes.
An experience: Shortly out of college, I worked as a residence hall manager at the local community college.  I was even younger than some of the dorm kids. Working Friday and Saturday nights, I came across kids doing all the stuff I'd done less than three years earlier. My advice to "don't do that; you'll regret it later" fell on deaf ears no different than my own.

    LIVE AND LEARN.

History repeats itself, and more likely than not, mistakes.

Because History classes are usually taught from a biased point of view.  I took a lot of History classes over the years- some were un-biased (but only one or two).  Even in the advanced courses there was never an essay question or paper due to answer the question:  What should the world learn from this????  In my mind that should be a question (global too). to answer for much of the world's History!

There is somewhere I read .There is nothing new under the sun that hasn't been done, only difference we don't  remember , One generation come, and another past.

Your right on Chaplin Don! TY.

In MY time? JFK and Martin Luther King Jr. were assassinated. As well as Bobby.  What was learned? Better security.  About history, remember, the books were written by the winners..............
