How nice. I am glad that someone made it to their 50th year,married. Something in Crystal, a monument or a souvenier. One of my friends gave her parents an Award made of gold which closely resembled an Oscar award. Another gave her Dad a gold tie pin and her mum a gold bracelet. Another gave them a very valuable wall painting from an artist of repute showing "togetherness". Let your heart rule.. then the choice is unbeatable :).

Gold is the theme..but it doesn`t have to be expensive..as some people fear!...Gold headed Stationary..My Grandparents were given a gold coloured coffee set..where each guest at the party gave one item towards it!..They were happy..but just as happy to have their friends and family celebrating with them!:-)..(i was only 6 at the time but I still remember how special the party was)!!:->
