why does tomtom put 20 year old maps on new sale items

a person buys a product and there are roads that have existed for more than 20 years in an area and they do not register on your maps that have been sold from the retailer .Then when I try to get an update you have the gaul to demand me to pay for an updated version that should have been on the Tomtom from the retailer. What a scam.

So you can pay for the upgrade. It's called marketing.

By the way, we are akaQA, we are not affiliated with TomTom.
