I do not know if one can, but the problem is easily controlled with medication

Hypoglycemia has often been diagnosed as bipolar. Other cyclic influences that appear to be bipolar to an observer "bent on diagnosing bipolar” (aka…believes bipolar is the predominate condition first) can cover every condition imaginable that comes and goes. The term is over used and is easily rubber-stamped  on everything cyclic.
