It would depend on whether or not the painted turtle becomes distracted or not. I can tell you that when a painted turtle wants to get somewhere quickly they really can move.

The same amount of time it takes if it's not painted I reckon.
Not actually... painted turtles are a type of turtle. I can tell you a snapping turtle is much quicker and nastier.
