I am not sure of this but I think 'mining' refers to watching a video, when it is finished, it gives you several related videos, you watch one of those suggestions and then after that video, these even more suggestions.. I believe this is how the term 'mining U-tube' might be used.. Not 100% certain though. I have heard the terms.. Surfing, drilling, mapping down, etc.. Why not mining??
