There are exercises you can do to control your symptoms before they happen. An easy walk before resting can walk away the tension in your legs. Basic stretching goes a long way to controlling your symptoms. While not really an exercise, meditation can offer you a way to relax both your mind and your body. Doing these exercises as part of your daily routine will help you feel considerably better when the evening time comes.Your symptoms may be relieved by bathing in very hot or very cold water. Applying a heating pad or ice bag to your legs may also help symptoms. Keep the feet warm with socks and without restraining shoes.

I have tried most of your suggestions to no avail- my doctor has me on Parkinson meds.My legs don't just ' feel ' creepy crawly - they jump, kick - it's like they have a life of their own.
I have heard that some DR’s have been experimenting with Tramadol hydrochloride for restless leg syndrome also for depression as well.
