      Cut into 1in cubes and simmer until soft.

        When cooked add lots of butter, pepper, and salt to taste.

        Big sharp knife... slice first then dice into cubes.  You can roast them in a little olive oil and seasoning.  Very nice.

          Use a band saw to cut your turnips, can get dangerous with sharp knife.
