Once yo retrieve your mail change your password to something illogical and difficult or keep that mail open but change your email to a different server and tell only the people who need to know what it is. and since your e-mail has been corrupted I would immediately change any similar passwords you have on the net Especially financial institutions- you may want to contact them too so they are aware the hacker may have corrupted these accounts too.
