If you are not talking about scholastic matters and are having conversations you would have with a friend, the relationship is NOT student/teacher. Please don't be alone with this teacher. His reputation, as well as your own, is at stake.
If you like and respect this man, you will NOT put yourself in a position that could cause any raised eyebrows.
AFTER you graduate, dating him could be an option, provided he is single and interested in dating you!

I dont know if he likes me but I enjoy the time spent together and I don't wanna ruin a friendship for something I amover thinking
No doubt he enjoys the time with you as well. You are probably NOT overthinking this, especially if he looks for you.
If YOU are the one looking for HIM, it may be more on you. I understand how much you must enjoy the friendship; again, for both of your sakes, make sure you are never alone with him. AFTER graduation! I'm presuming you are a senior and will graduate in just a couple of months.

You should both be aware that there are boundries that have to be respected. I taught at a private school at the high school level. I had an incident that was misinterpreted by the administration that nearly cost me my position.
