    my daughters i pod was stolen at a party.

      Collegemom, bit late now , you should have registered with ' Find my Iphone/I pad apps', it would have given you exact location and you hand information to police to recover it.  A youg lad here did that exact procedure and he got it back and the thief was arrested. --  it does actually work.

        I have that but it say actions pending and it is off line.What does that mean?

        College mom, i think the thief has turn off the i Pad, as it can't be traced whilst off. he/she is probably waiting a while before using it or selling it, just keep trying every day, this could take some time. - i hope you get it back, i have no time for these lowlife's.

        I donot think YOU can get it back using serial number, best report it to law and if it turns up they will know it by the serial number you give them . good luck.
