    2 dozen corn tortillas....

    and a pot luck Sunday.  All of us are bringing Mexican dishes (we all won corn tortillas at the Mexican-American bowling tournament).  I'd like to bring something  little out of the ordinary made with the corn tortillas.  Any ideas/recipes?  THANKS!

      Make corn pinwheels out of them, a little cream cheese, salsa, cheese, whatever and roll, chill, and slice into rounds......don't forget jalapenos.....

        How about filling them with a fruit-compote mixture to off-set the spicyness of the natural Latina food recipes being made.  Perhaps a papaya, banana and pineapple mixture,  or a mango, avacado, pineapple combination??  Sweet and spicy ALWAYS works,  it just needs imagination!! Yuuummmm!

          That sounds very delicious and refreshing! We'll be stuffed full of cheese and sauce; that would be a great ending.
