    OK..a brief history lesson. The Mayan's had several calenders and only the long cal. ends this year supposedly on the 21st of December (although this date is being disputed by some anthropologists). The long calender was 5,000 years long. Once the 5,000 years was over the long calender reverts back to the beginning again. There is no records of the Maya peolple thinking the world would end, just that one of their cals. would "re-set" itself. Plus, if you think about it logically, the Mayan people's culture only lasted 300 (or so) years. If they were prophetic they would have seen it coming. Lesson over. No more fear necessary.
