      Careful, Doubtful, Uneasy, Suspicious, Concerned, Questioning

      "      I was wary of the letter proclaiming me an instant millionaire.  Somehow, it didn't seem possible to be a millionaire without having to do anything!"   

      (Substitute any of those synonyms for the word "wary" in that sentence.)
