A real crime those parents committed. Imagine sending your child to school with a turkey sandwich for lunch. He/she needs these chicken nuggets!!! At least my parents allowed me to have peanut butter and jelly.

This brings me back quite a few years ago when the school called regarding my boys lunches or lack there of. She asked why my kids didn't have any lunch at school and wondered if we were having financial issues at home. I was shocked to hear her ask this as I was daily making and packing their lunches before school. I found out that they were throwing the healthy stuff away and only taking the snacks with them. I asked the teacher to take a walk down the dip between my home and the school if she wanted to see what the kids had for lunch as I knew it was laying on the ground between school and home.
