This might depend upon your phone service. I know with mine, I have to send them to the phone companies website, where I had to set up a gallery account. From there I can download them to anywhere I want. It's a huge headache, as the website doesn't function as well as you'd think it would.
Hopefully, you have a phone that would allow you to connect with a mini-USB end going to a regular USB end, and that it would be compatible with whatever your computer runs to store them. Check with where you purchased the service, they would be most apt to help you.
