Little sisters are like that... I had two. I dearly love them. You will love your sister one day as well... she may even turn out to become your very best friend.

big sisters too. I have 2, first you see them all the time, then they seem to form a club from which you are excluded. still looking for a new name? how about Fortuna? or if you are a third sister you could try Terza - which means 3 or third in latin i think

According to the Bible (Genesis Chapter 4), the first born person on earth was Cain, the child of Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve were not born, they were created by God in a mature body.

    what about Seth?

According to Genesis 4:25, Seth was born after the slaying of Abel by Cain,

I thought Seth was Cain's son

it all depends on your religious belief .if like me you believe in evalution then there was no first  person as we evolved up from a single cell .if on the other hand you believe in creation then you may find it best to speak with your church leader.good luck.

Since I believe the words of the Bible, I'd have to say Cain

    BUT WAS CAIN ABLE???
    Bob/PKB

Cain was able to murder Abel, which must mean he wasn't able to get along well with his peers.

Cain was the firstborn to Adam and Eve..........

It has been said ,that peoplelover, might well might be in the shake up,

The first humans appeared nearly half a million years ago.

according to hindu culture..... or we can say indian culture "manu" was the first on earth n we all r his children...

The genetically altered alien being that we evolved from, his name was Glork.

Nope, I'm not old enough to be his godmother. Glork came long before Jesus even. :)

    Did the program mention Glork?

There was no identifiable "first man", because all men had parents. Biologically, we are all members of the Homo sapiens species. Our species evolved from members of the Homo erectus species, but there was was no one person who was suddenly sapiens and no longer an erectus person. Before that, there was was no one person who was suddenly erectus and no longer a Homo habilis person. Evolution occurs gradually in response to the changing environment in which we live.

val, so the " first parents" were the first man ( and woman ) is what you're saying ? that cooresponds with the bible
    mycatsmom

val, so the first group of cells that the first man evolved from was the first man on earth ?

Gee mcm, there had to be a first man at some point, in that then everything would correspond with the bible or the bible corresponds with tales before it came into being. What the bible misses is that the first people were hermaphrodites.

not exactly but I respect your belief

don't hate your little sister. She just wants to be in your life and hang out with you, b/c you are her hero. or heroine.

In the official book, the bible, it says God made Adam first. That's just as good an answer as you'll find anywhere. Whatever or whoever the first man was........let's just call him Adam and be done with it.

Clarifying the official book bit....the bible, is the official book for the Christians. It is not the official book for everyone else. Let's call the first man whatever we want to as there is no proof his name was Adam. It could have been Glork for all we know.

This portion of the bible is the jews bible too...

All humans have been traced back to 'Mitochondrial Eve' a woman who lived in Africa about 100,000 years ago though no doubt there were humans on earth before that. Mitochondrial DNA passes unchanged from female to female and thus to male offspring.

    through evolution
