I will offer this only from a installers perspective . The hanger gets a per foot price depending on the area you are in . price goes from 5 cents a foot and goes up from there . Each degree of difficulty costs more ,high work is expensive ,screwed on or nailed ? Shear walls?Double walls,fire walls ? Sprinklers ? Corner bead ?Bull nose ? Each stage has its own price hanging is one thing ,tape and texture is another .Ball park guess for complete job multiply the cost of the board by 4 for turn key install. Hanger gets app 7.5 cents per square foot -so 4x12=48 square feet per board x7.5 cents . Trust me after 20 years of doing this what ever they pay it aint near enough. Old joke : A monkey could hang board ,trouble is most of them have enough sense not to . LOL !!! Good Luck
