What smells nice on you and can you afford it???

Oh, take the one you love to the store where fragrance is sold. Spray it on you. See if it works.  Also, you have to just love it yourself. If your partner loves it but you don’t, that won’t work.

I always have at least one really good bottle of fragrance on my dresser. Right now it’s LaVanilla and White Linen. I’d go without shoes for a good bottle of fragrance .............almost.

Old Spice !! my wife swears by it .I buy it every year on her birthday .Mind you I use it as well.

Always choose a 'signature' perfume, it has to make you smile, feel warm and fuzzy, and special and not be one of those ho hum cheap smells that everyone wears. Used to always wear L'Origan by Coty, almost unanavailable now, but love Sonia Rykiel, it 'sends' me too.
