    pinus oocarpa as timber

    would like to build a house with pinus oocarpa(known as fatwook) and have been told not to for is a fire hazard and i am concern that it may burn, can sombody help?

      Any info I have found generally speaks of pinus oocarpa as a good wood for fuel, apart from some huts  in Guatamala, I think you should seek an experienced builders advice.
