    i am 52 years old and have to get my GED I need some good books to start

    My advice to you would be to enroll in an adult education course geared toward obtaining your GED. They are not terribly expensive and you will have direction in the materials needed to be successful.  Good luck.  Let us know when you earn your diploma!

    The GED center should be able to supply this information. Good luck, they are surprisingly easy.......

    If they're not required books, go to the library and read up about the subject you are on.
