       The Meaning Of Prefix.


      A prefix is a small linguistic unit or an affix which is placed before the stem of a word to change its meaning. An example of a prefix is 'un' in unhappy.

        prefix id a short word putted in front of a word like .......... dis... like= dislike,,  un...common=uncommon and a surfix is something that is put at the back of the word like ...... mistake....able= mistakable and so on..
