In my universe, there is one Holy God.  I read about Him in the Holy Bible.

There is only one God.  .......God, the father of the universe.  The first of the ten commandments says  " I am a jealous God and thou shalt have no other gods before me. "   Even the muslims beleive  in only one god.........so do the jews.

Interesting question... I believe in God. The Christian god. However, the Bible also speaks of putting no god before him... so does that say that there are other gods???  I believe the bible says what it means and means what it says. 

In the Grand Universe….more than there are numbers….beyond names and beyond number.

There is a Mother and a Father and bunches and bunches of uncles.

It all depends on your focus of religion and the ability to accept the tolerance of other religions. I would determine there are several.

My understanding of scripture and the Trinity is this; God created us in His image. His image is

Mind, Body and Spirit.

Mind-The Father

Body-Jesus the Son of God and man

Spirit-the Holy Spirit of God

This is the trinity, his signature upon His most loved work of art.

One may also think of  it in terms of the physical earth; Water, land and air.

I won't limit myself to one idea or one book.  The Universe is God.  There are many books on the subject and 'God' gave me the abitlity to appreciate. 

That is the path that I choose.

there is only one GOD , he created every thing in the world. Plants, humans, animals, water, mountains, gravity, planets and every thing the humans didnt make.  

The answer gets even more complicated now that it seems that there are more than one univers...

There are an innumerable number of gods in the universe, but only One outside the created realm.
