Is there no access to medical treatment whatsoever? Go to your local AA, look in your local papers for numbers, hope you get the help you need, good luck.

If you go to ER they have to treat you or they should find a center to treat you. you need a 12-step AA program. AA is listed on the internet and phone book. You may have to go to a homeless shelter. Do not die from alcohol.                                                                                 

You have the money to drink. Detox is free for those who can not afford it.

No, I'm saying use the money they are spending on drink to go to detox. But if they truly can not afford to pay for detox (even with putting the money for drinking into the fund), there are free centers here in the USA. Start will the Salvation Army.

Alcohol is expensive.... How do you have the money to drink like that? Go to the ER... 

You could try tapering off... Drink less and less each day until nil...But the others are right, go seek help, professional......

Just make up your mind and stop use your will power. If you don't the drinking will definately kill you . You can't be that drunk because you wrote this question which means your at least lucid

SUMMER I personally think you should see a GP who is specialised in this area.............and be honest to him/her, and if you don't feel comfortable, call a councellor.

If you're speaking of the USA, there is little that a GP will do other than to recommend detox (with no guidance on how to do that) or AA. I think Summer knows what she needs, she just thinks she doesn't have enough money to pay for detox or is using "not enough money" as the excuse to keep spending what she has on booze.

You are wrong however, everyone has a place on this planet, even the ones who put others down. To say they do not is overstepping the boundaries of God. God decides who has a place on this planet. Not Chain.

Summer you know what I am going to say and you have probley heard all before get to AA and this is going to be tough love you know now what to do you have been drinking for long time its wonder you have a liver or not dead YET but there you Go the YET is coming up like it always does you know why I am talking to you like I am I have worked in NA and AA  and everyone is giving you the poor me s well you know what that does the poor me its POUR ME ANOTHER DRINK GET TO AA NOW!

I have the perfect place for you. Its a 8 by 15 foot cell in prison. Because thats the only place you need to be. Its only a matter of time before you kill somebody or yourself. You are not going to get help outside of prison, or you would have done it. By the way you wont die from what you call a detox. Thats your body releasing all the toxins ,trying to heal itself.  At this time you are vitamin B and C deficient . Go get supplements now. This will be a good beginning to assist you in feeling better.  You can get better , i wish you a good future.  Oh, why i know this,  i went through same problem with my sister.  I knew the district attorney and told him to lock her up She "detoxed " as you would say , in lock up.  So if you dont want to end up in a cell , stop the drinking right now. You can do it.

Detoxing improperly can kill a person. Amy Winehouse died from quitting cold turkey. Her body went into massive shock and it killed her.
