You do not need a lawyer for this. He will cost more than the ticket. Just appear in court, plead stupid, act remorseful be extremely respectful to the judge and claim poverty. He might cut you a break. Dress nice, get your hair cut, shave (if needed). Do your best to look like a good young man who does not cause trouble.
Your friend needs the lawyer since there is/was a warrant out for him. The best he is going to get is the one he can afford. I can not give you names as I live in Connecticut. Hit the yellow pages and see who will take him.
