    what do I do with collard green stems

    I have collard green stems that I hate to put in garbage. What can I do with these?

    two things I've done with collard green stems: 1. cut them up in half-inch pieces and cook them with the greens... 2. cut them to fit in a blender, add water, blend to a mush and cook with greens.

          Stir fry them with some vegetable oil, garlic, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.   Cook fast in very high heat.  Perfect.
