The physician has ordered 0.500 g of tetracycline to be given every 6 hours to a patient. If your stock on hand is 500-{\rm mg} tablets, how many will you need for 1 day's treatment?

I don't know, go and ask the pharmacist. One thing I want to tell you though, in Australia they do not prescribe tetracycline anymore. I've heard that it weakens your bones, so do a google search on the medicine and its side effects before you take it.
