    doesnt anyone want to see people change thier lives and help them on the way?

    I think it is great that someone wants to make a change for the better, it takes sheer determination, strength and courage to make changes.To be helped along the way, you should have a support network  that can keep you motivated and focused.

    Everyone can benefit from positive reinforcement but changing a person is difficult....

    Yes but one cannot change others only themselves.

    It would be VERY NICE to see someone change his/her life and get on a good path, secure a terrific job, marry "the one" .  What I have learned the hard way is that I cannot change someone. People change when they are ready to change. Helping them, as far as I am concerned, is done with encouragement and mental/emotional support.   It may seem my answer is cynical, which it might be.  There are reasons for it, though.

    HMMMM.........sounds like an insecure person who would do that.


    Sorry if that sounds rude,  but that is the start of a massive war between you and the person you want to change. Get a life and let the other person get theirs.
