We just had insulation of some kind blown into our attic. This evening our co2 warning device went off. Is there any connection?

I would have the fire dept come check it out (now).  It could just be fumes from the insulation but better safe than sorry. You also might want to make sure they did not blow insulation in or on vents for the house to breathe.
