Google this:  Stickman Bangkok or Thailand.  This guy puts out a lot of information for foreigners desiring to live in Thailand.  More importantly, you'd need to know the visa requirements to live in the Kingdom of Thailand.  Google: visa requirements for Thailand or Thai Consulate.

I don't think there's such a thing as a farang organization advising foreigners on how to relocate.  Rather, you could find getting pieces of information here and there more helpful.

Call their US embassy, can be found through google. They will tell you about differanrt visas and length of them andd what requirements. Also about a resident alien.
