has anyone had a 2000 dodge dakota 3.9 Liter sport that shows every sign off starting then as soon as i think it's going to start (when i take my hads off key) it stalls, i can keep it running only if i keep rpms at 1000 or more for 5 minute's then let off pedal slowly and it will not stall. It also sounds horrible and oil pressure is under 40 on idel

I had a 1989 Dakota 2.6 liter that had a similar problem (but not exact). It happened two different times over a 5 or 6 year span. I don't remember the name of the devise but it regulated the mixture of air and gasoline and I believe it was located on the firewall. Maybe someone else can give you a better description.
