        about 3/8" to 1/2". I was guessing 400 lbs and don't want to break it up as it's worth $800 to $1,000 on Craigslist. But I sure would love to put in a nice shower and would feel much safer.

        Very heavy.  I took one out years ago and broke it with a sledgehammer then took the pieces out individually.  If you want to take it out entire you will need help.
