My 10 month old "Kitten" can be good as gold, but suddenly will start to run like the devil himself was chasing him? is this normal behavior?

He has been spayed, and up to date with all his shots, and he is an indoor cat? Here where I live, Animals must be on a leash or fenced in. So he's indoors always.

My cat used to do it every night, right after supper. I would warn people that in a few minutes, my cat will go crazy. Of course, they laughed.....the first time I told them that. She looked like an angry maniac!!! lol

My cat did the very same thing when she was young, she was just playing. I would be sleeping on couch and she would run from clear across the room to jump on me . I did notice she had worms and took her to vet . She got fixed at same time.
