    is this legal can an employer fire you.If you ask to be off work to see a doctor than your condition is not serious

    My employer whenever you take off work to see a doctor.and its not serious like dieabetes,high blood pressure.They give you incodents and if you get 10 your fired

    Unless you have an employment contract, you are considered "At Will" and an employer can fire you for any reason. Of course, you can also quit for any reason without notice too.
    Why would you see a doctor frequently for a non serious condition?
    It's your credibility. Your work history will tell it all. As far as firing concern, it'd depend on your contract and job status.
    they can fire you because you look funny they do not need a reason
    I think it would depend on how much you ask off.
