    Has anyone or their child read the book "Mockingbird"...

    My daughter is reading it.. For school.. It is so sad.. She is having bad dreams and having mortalily issues... She is 11 and in 6th grade.... I think this book is a little DEEP for her.

        No just Mockingbird.. But To Kill a Mockingbird is mentioned in it.

        I can't say i have heard of a book just called Mockingbird, is this about Racism as well and in the South?

        It's about autism, cancer, death and borderline abuse. I think it's a little deep for a 6th grader.
