    7 - 5x  =  28 + 2x
    7 -5x + 5x = 28 + 2x + 5x (Trying to get unknown on one side of equation. Start by adding 5x tto both sides will zero out -5x)
    7 = 28 + 7x   (Now get the x all by itself....Subtract 28 from both sides)
    7 - 28 = 28 + 7x - 28
    -21 = 7x   Get the X alone; divide both sides by  7.
    -21/7 = 7x/7
    -3 = x
