    Most animals need a bit of privacy.  You may watch from a widow, or if you are 'hidden' from view.

    A willing female, would be my guess

    Well hopefully they have the desire to reproduce.  If not, time for the butcher or sale. This was a test question in my beef genetics class. My answer was behavior was not much a factor, but what the owner had as purpose of animal. Need the natural instinct to breed and reproduce, otherwise feed out and slaughter, or send to sale.

    Youth, fertility and reproduction, having the same species in the same tank so to speak. You cannot expect a porcupine to produce with a hamster for example.
