    TO find the percentage of a multiply the first number by the percentage amount.  
    $2,700 x 15%   =   $2,700 x .15  = $405. 
    another example:   25% of 3750       3750 x 25%  = 3750 x .25 =  937.5    (For this you could also have divided 3750 by 4)

    $2700.00 * 0.15  or, $2700.00 * .15 = $405.00 


    Change 15% into a decimal > 0.15 > then multiply
