    HI  4( 5n-7) = 10n + 2       =     20n-28 = 10n + 2      =  20n  =10n + 30    =20n - 10n = 30

    therefore         10n = 30      therefore    n = 3

    REMEMBER WHEN YOU TAKE NUMBERS FROM ONE SIDE OF THE EQUAL SIGN THEY CHANGE   IE:    + BECOMES -   AND X  BECOMES DIVIDE  AND VISA VERSA

    I HOPE THIS HELPS

    YES!

    4(5n - 7) = 10n + 2

     20n - 28 = 10n + 2

    -10n +28 = -10n +28

    ----------------------------------------

    10n  =   30

    ------      ------

     10           10

    n  =   3
