You can't actually get a fuse to open a "factory" door, unless the button or control for it is stuck in a position to complete the circuit. A fuse or circuit breaker (more common with newer installations) is only a safeguard to protect the system in the event of a short circuit, or when and if the door jams and causes an overloading of the circuit. The thing of it is, that if the fuse or breaker is getting blown or kicked out repeatedly, there is a problem within the system that needs to be corrected. Otherwise, you have a potential fire hazard in the system that is not being addressed. Just because a wire or wires seem harmless when all is working correctly, doesn't mean that those very same wires don't have the potential of being very dangerous.
