    A rectangle has four sides.  The two opposite sides are equal in length.  If your rectangle has sides of 9 feet (two sides) and 4 feet (two sides), the equation would be:
    2(9) + 2(4) = perimeter
    18 + 8 = 26 feet, the answer ROMOS provided.
