Drink water moisturise it with Aqueous cream eat vegatables and take Vitamin E see your doctor also I'm only a Quack

Moisturizers help Maybe your house is too dry. Try a humidifier. Also very hot showers or baths will dry your skin more.  I hated finding out about the hot water!

I have very dry skin and moisturizing creams do nothing for me. After a shower or bath, I rub petroleum jelly on my hands and everywhere that tends to get dry. The petroleum jelly locks in moisture for a day or two and keeps my skin in good condition. Bathe everyday or two and use petroleum jelly every time. My cuticles on my fingers would dry, crack and bleed if I didn’t do this.  

Drink loads of water eat veg stay away from carbs and use Aveeno its made from Oatmeal its very good

Drink more water, lower the temperature in your home, use moisturizer, open windows in your home to allow fresh air (if you can).   Have you asked a dermatologist about the problem?
