    The republican or democrat party.........?

I recently asked my neighbors' little girl what she wanted to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President someday. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do? ' She replied, 'I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people.' Her parents beamed with pride. 'Wow...wha...t a worthy goal.' I told her, 'But you don't have to wait until you're President to do that! You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds, and trim my hedge, and I'll pay you $50. Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.' She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the eye and asked, 'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50? ' I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.' Her parents still aren't speaking to me........lol

I love it. It doesn't get better than that.

Republican. We gotta get this guy out of office. If the party doesn't start behaving like intelligent mature adults and stop spitting on one another, the moron will be re-elected.

Unfortunately the dammage is already done and beyond repair.

Valr. I hope your wrong. I do think that the next administration will either put us on top again or in the gutter forever.

    TU!

Republican all the way, i can't fathom   another four years of a leader that cares nothing about his own country,  while giving billions in foreign aid ..

A Republican who can beat Obama. My bet so far is Mitt  Romney. We cant afford to have Obama another 4 years, He is handing out our money like candy. He even tops Jimmy Carter,

Republican - the lesser of the two very mild evels.

    Headless Man

    I'm not sure how mild..........?

I'm leary about anything that starts with a capital "O" bama.  As far as GOP vs. the Dem's they both have ideas which would benefit US citizens.  But for citizens to say which is better without reading and UNDERstanding the bill is partisan.  We depend on our DC politicians and their aids to decern the contents of a bill so we don't have to do that.

Obama campaigned with things like "bypartisan" government on his lips.  Now I have heard him refer to the GOP as the "enemy".   I quoted enemy because the word is from his lips.  Bypartican be damed, according to our leader!

Obama operates like he has a secret or hidden agenda.   He likes to bypass the balanced of powers to seeming force his ideas on us.

I would like to know what political science grad students, or other politically sharp individuals have decided about his tactics.

If you want a nice house it  may be best to tear down what's there and build a new one.

What wonderful repulican party? The one that got us into two wars, the one that was in power when the economy went through the floor, the one that added trillions to the debt. Iraq alone added almost a trillion and we aren't finished with Afganistan yet.  Maybe it was the republican party that is always screaming for less regulation, which we got and was partly responsible for the mess that Wall Street created,  not to mention the disaster that the housing market suffered because the morgage companies were able to make some of the stupidest loans in history. Or possibly it's the republican party that is always so interested in minding other peoples eithics that they can't see their own short comings. Like the republicans that want to make abortion illegal by calling a zygot a person. Sure, they know exactly what every persons situation is and exactly what the correct moral position is for every problem. Or maybe it's those republicans that can't stand homosexuals because of the bible thumping morality. I know, it's the republicans like Bush that started the medicare drug program, the largest entitlement in history up to that time or the republcian adminstration that (Bush again)  that first started the bank bailout legislation, or did you guys forget that that added to the debt.  Or maybe we should support the republican party that came out and publically stated that they weren't going to support any programs that Obama supported and were the primary cause of the obstructions in our stagnent government which by the way was the reason that S&P downgraded our credit ratiing; the inability of congress to make any sort of move.

I don't believe that the democrats are much better and I don't vote party because I think thats irresponsible. I vote for whichever candidate is the most logical and pragmatic. So, who am I supposed to vote for in that republican mismash from Barnum and Baily? Romney is the only one that even seems presidential and he's changed his position so many times he's dizzy.
